  1. Hi Lachlan
Thanks for sharing your list of things you couldn't do. There are lots of things we can't do at the moment, but think how much you will enjoy doing them when we come out of lockdown. What did you miss not doing the most? I bet your Gran is missing you not going to her farm to. Where is her farm? I am pleased yo ucan do some things, like going for a bike ride aroudn your house. Have you thought about setting up an obstacle course to bike around? It might be something fun to do.

  2. There are lots of things that you didn't do Lochlan but riding around your house on the bike sounds like fun. Bug hunting under logs sounds interesting even though you didn't do it. What bugs did you think you might find if you did go? Would they be big ones? Would they be small?

  3. Kia ora Lochlan,
Well done for creating such a great blogpost about the things you didn’t get to do during the holidays. Being stuck inside during the school holidays was a little bit of a shame, but I am sure you must have found some pretty exciting things to entertain your time!
You mentioned on the bottom of your post how you did get to bike around your house. This sounds like so much fun, and I can imagine how nice it would have been to get some fresh air outside of the house!
How long did you ride your bike for?
Did you set up any tracks/obstacle courses?
    Did anyone ride with you?
It would be awesome if you could reply to this comment and let me know!
You also mentioned in your post how you didn’t get to do things such as climb Mount Everest or Mount Cook.
Do you want to climb these mountains?
Is mountain climbing something that interests you?
Have you ever climbed a mountain before? If so, when?
    Keep up the great work!
    Nga mihi
